I don’t know what to do with my hands when I don’t have a camera in them, but that is beside the point. It’s been a really really long time since I’ve posted my face here!! I’ve realized that I actually never share much of myself and this year is the year that changes! You’ll start to see more of me—whether that is through an occasional post or through stories! I could go on this whole ramble about life, but honestly—I just want to say thank you to everyone that has followed along, shared my work, hired me to take photos of their beautiful faces, and have shown any form of support!! I appreciate it more than you’ll ever know!!
The most important aspect with my work is authentic connection—which is so so important to me! Which is why I have fallen in love with documenting weddings and couples. I like to describe my work as documentary and editorial. I’m a hybrid photographer which means that I photograph with both digital and analog film. I can’t wait to create art with you and your lover! 🎞️🖤

Oh man, where do I begin with this one!? I have been photographing Lauren since she was a senior in highschool!! I have quite literally been there from week one when Lauren and J.d. started talking. I mean—literally. We randomly did a photo session a few years ago the first week they started hanging out and their connection was so obvious and contagious that a photo from that session ended up in Vogue Italia! INSANE. I was even there when J.d. proposed to Lauren!! Getting the opportunity to document them getting married was such an honor—I just love these two sooo much!!🤍🖤

I’ve been thinking about this photoshoot a lot lately. I have started to notice pockets of cinematic flow in my sessions which is something I’m going to be exploring more of from now on. Ive always been really big on choosing the overall feel of the photoshoots—including locations, clothing style, color palettes, etc. I’m heavily involved with it all. I’ve noticed that my brain has started to dig deeper into my educational past when it comes to my background in the cinema related aspects. Just in case you weren’t aware, I have a bachelor’s degree in visual art communications—this required me to take multiple classes on story boarding, scriptwriting, filmmaking, foreign films, and so many more cinematic themed classes. My emphasis was photography, obviously. My true love. 🖤📸
Words that come to mind for my work and for the future of my work: cinematic, editorial, intimate, intentional, emotive, and timeless.
Captured on black and white 35mm film.🎞️
I had to share some more from this Charleston, WV photoshoot! Summer time calls for a little spice don’t you think? 🌶️ • mix of digital, 35mm film, and medium format 120 film
One thing about me—I don’t care where I’m at when it comes to creating. I don’t care what lighting situation I’m in. It’s all about the people in front of my lens (or in my case, lenses). Yeah, I’ll help pick out style and will pick out a general location, but we are quite literally exploring and going with the flow while i’m documenting with at least three different cameras. My photography style is a mishmash of documentary and editorial, it always has and probably always will. Inspired by so many different things—from cinema, music, renaissance paintings, photographs my grandparents took when they were young, different cultures, online/print magazines like Vogue, things I’ve picked up on from traveling to different cities, etc..life in general really. • Medium Format 120 film 🎞️
