Same spot, different pup ❤️ We still miss Dillon every day, (and that mega-watt smile). but Luka has been such a joy to have in our lives. He’s still working on not looking incredibly worried (even though he’s not, lol).
We are headed to South Bend, Indiana this weekend to photograph the @raffaella.ballet , a new full-length fairy tale ballet, created in honor of Raffaella Stroik. This new work was created by Raffaella’s family and friends and the story, while not a biographical story of her life, represents Raffaella’s spirit.

Raffaella was a dancer with @stlouisballet , and we also worked together for Dancers & Dogs. She passed away shortly afterward and, her legacy has always lived on in this project. Raffaella was such a genuinely lovely person and the most outwardly kind person we’ve ever met. You never saw Raffaella without receiving a big hug and just the kindest words. She was such a huge fan of Dancers & Dogs and she always asked how things were going.

The Boerboel is apparently mixed with the Catahoula side, at least 3 generations ago. His other side is pretty much pure Aussie.

A Tribute to Hero! 🐾 All dogs are special, but some dogs are beyond compare. Hero, of the @thesupercollies was one of those dogs, He and his owner, @thesupercolliesmom came into our lives shortly after Dancers & Dogs went viral in 2018. Sara & Hero taught us what dogs are really capable of, changing the dynamic of our work. Hero was intuitive and smarter than and dog we’ve known. That kind of talent doesn’t come along every day. We will miss our buddy, but he leaves behind a legacy in the Super Collies, as well as part of Dancers & Dogs.
