What a special Evening. The magical Premiere of ‘Blue Baby’ last Night was a success and I’m truly humbled and moved to be a part of telling Caleb’s and his family’s story. An Interview from the Carpet as well as more (professional) photos to follow with my wonderful Castmates and of course our incredible writer and director @martinssamuelstudios . So very proud of what you have created and now I can’t wait for people to see this. This 40min Film serves as the pilot of what we hope to become a limited series. We’re hoping to shoot more Episodes and sell it to Netflix. A true story of finding hope, faith and trust within the deepest of sorrows. After another 15.5 hour day, 4 hours of sleep and 2 self tapes I’m back on set and the minute I arrived my heart was full. My happy place. Yes, a movie set. But also: Nature. Horses. Wild animals (see Deers in pics and video). Baby piggies. A Bunny. Farm Life. My goodness I belong in the Country. What am I doing in LA, Lord? Day 3. 14-15 hour days - not including travel to/from set. Shooting till 4am. Outside in the Heat. Little sleep. While still trying to catch up on submissions and self tapes - and life. Yet - I’ll never get tired of the energy of a Film Set. It’s the ‘in between’ moments. The camaraderie. The love we all share for creating movie magic. For telling stories and moving an audience. Well… this was a day of a lot of firsts. ✨ First time not only driving by the famous Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills (right next to The Beverly Hilton) but attending an event here including a fancy breakfast, first time representing my company ‘Dove Productions’ and first time meeting with an Entertainment Lawyer and exploring possible work avenues. Attended a very I informative panel about ‘AI in your Business’ as this continues to grow and spread and we (not just performers and filmmakers) but mankind need to protect ourselves and be as knowledgeable as possible. So much I haven’t shared yet about my week in New York and the Tribeca Film Festival. One of them was being able to spend some time and catch up with the beautiful @denise_monteiro_usa and even squeezing in some sight seeing! The view from this beautiful restaurant at the Hudson River @mezzeontheriver was absolutely breathtaking. Beautiful weather, clear skies, stunning New Jersey Skyline and a view of the Statue of Liberty 🗽. Literally had to pinch myself to make sure this is real. I’ve explored NY now by Car, Subway, Bus and on Foot. Best way to discover new and unexpected things?
