Being on @weareaustin was such a life changing experience! A black, gay male on the news promoting his art and expression was so deep to me! Living in Austin for 28+ years I’ve seen the city grow and change many times, I’m glad I got to grow with it and y’all because WE ARE AUSTIN!!!!

You won't want to be the only one not at Esquina Tango this Saturday May 25, 2024 from 7pm to 10:30pm for an incredible night of Black, Brown, Queer and Trans Joy! Join us for a night dedicated to the love that exists in our vibrant communities.
The night will be full of surprises, starting off with:
A dance lesson to get us going by Queer Dance Austin's Ricki Anaya and Shri at the beginning of the night!
Then we will pump things up with performances by Diamond Davenport's DIOR DYNASTY and Los MENtirosos Drag Kings! Feel free to bring some cash to tip!
After that, La Morena will provide the tunes, beats and rhythm you need to start tearing up the dancefloor!
We also take a moment to lift up our glasses to recognize and celebrate Jesús Ortega, long time community leader for their work in within the LGBT+ community, allgo and beyond.
Our fab host Gacho Marx will make sure we are having an AMAZING time!
