To @geminiprodfl - the folks behind the event "Soca Take Over", I extend a zillion thank yous, with a special note of gratitude to @drsaf_thejourney and to @bakshshazaad for listing Diane Carlton Caribbean as one of three local designers worthy to create for the Grammy Award winning South African superstar, best known for her hit "Jerusalema".
I could not accomplish any of this without the talent and passionate support of the women on my production team, who left no stone unturned to ensure that our almost five year old brand was well represented and rose to the occasion like ah boss.
We've still got so much growing to do and processes to perfect, but if nothing else, this experience has taught us that when it comes to design, DC is "ready to Bamba..and chill with de big boys!"
