FOOTWEAR DESIGNS for @pumasportstyle x @kidsuper Slide 1: every Palermo I drew Slide 2: Timelapse for the velophasis. This design process is instantaneous manifestation… gazing into the white screen and pulling out the future. Many of you saw me draw/design these IRL in last year’s KidSuper fw23 showroom in Paris. I was buzzing! My first shoes designed in France 🫶 Slide 3: My Alternate Nitro design. Where I got the idea to repeat the puma stripe and make that a design story. We ended up going with the Velophasis. Slide 4: Palermo Timelapse. Drawing over @kidsuper photoshop mock ups. He had the genius idea to put the repeating pumas on the Palermo. I love working with Colm for these moments of brilliance that I am always ready to make visible and viable. I think I was back in Clifton, New Jersey by this point. This show I was stylist shopper and walked 30,000 steps a day scouring for literally whatever Colm, Wisdom, @g.ucy , @lizarragaceciliaa , @avivastella and @nadiarazlan needed. Normally my work is done by the showroom, so it was nice to feel useful, involved, and provide for the actual prep. The last pic is me on March 15,2020 with my drawings and oil pastel paintings at a group show with the Art Factory in Paterson NJ. The last group show I did, the day before national lockdowns were enforced for COVID. I sold one piece for $30 haha. 4 years later, I got to finally show again. Show notes and realness: the three pieces on display were all painted after my junior review, aiming to integrate the feedback from my junior review; they are very special to me and to a few of you, but I think I could have shown some ‘louder’ work; which may be more readily digested by the gallery visitor, who has no idea about my long process of arriving at these subtler pieces. We did not sell anything.. but my return on investment will come down the line. I just wish any of you were able to come see it 🥹 I owe all of you that much! After Venice, where I am showing again in 2 weeks, I will wait for my solo exhibition this spring as part of my class of 25 graduation show from @prattfinearts 💐 I am now in Paris, awaiting showroom duties :)

In the midst of an already hectic fall semester, I was tasked by Marvel, PlayStation, and KidSuper with becoming a one man illustration team to design celebrity suits for the new Spider-Man 2 game. Working with all 4 of our client’s feedback: 2x Champions League Winner, Brazilian Real Madrid star Vinicius JR., the iconic Rina Sawayama, F1 speedster Lando Norris , and Colm AKA KidSuper himself to realize their respective suit designs through my illustrations, to the full extent of their imagination. It was my first time working on such a level: many days and nights were spent on the multiple iterations and edits across all the clients, across two already busy months as a collegiate student athlete, simultaneously working towards fw24 collection. I learned what it takes! thank you @kidsuper for the responsibility and respect inherent with it.

LONDON FRIENDS!!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 This new painting, ‘Moisture’ has just been accepted to show with @theholyartgallery along with ‘blue’ and ‘flying machines’ opening on June 7th, 2024 RSVP Info on 2nd slide ‘Moisture’ is a reaction to the arid, firey palette which I had been working with. I wanted this painting to feel like a leaf of aloe Vera; which can be consumed optically or applied to the ‘burning’ mind. @kidsuper x @melo capsule By @pumahoops My first basketball shoe project:) Obvi I didn’t design the mb.03, but as soon as this brief landed in my phone I had the idea to put our Kidsuper face camo with @foda.farm and an eye on the padded collar extension.. I love to help where I can! And I had to really push for this one to materialize :) glad it has done so! I wanted a subtle color way but LaMelo loves color. The puma team arrived at the colors together with him. Apparel Graphic by @jackherzog.studio of our KIDSUPER DESIGN TEAMMMMMM Some more work from last fall I still have to post. 🕷️
