June was full of dance… shocker, I know! ☀️The girls were busy prepping for Nationals, but we still managed to have fun and hit the water park a lot this month. 🖤We’re so proud of the girls and their hard work this whole year! You guys, the basics really work! ✔️ I know, I know… but there’s so many basics and as a human living in 2024 (with family, kids, work, etc.) it seems impossible to nail 🔨down the basics. That being said, many of my clients come to me after years of being on the back burner and their bodies are stuck in a constant state of stress; which increases⬆️their cortisol levels. Ever wish you had time to meal prep yourself? As a mom of 3 and business owner, I get it💁🏼‍♀️I’m always looking for ways to make my days easier. For me, having my breakfast and lunch planned during the Summer is a ✨MUST✨ And guess what, it doesn’t have to take the entire day!⏰ Here’s what I used to prep —12 meals— (for my husband and I) in ONLY 30 minutes. PS…You’re gonna want to save this for later➕ 🍚bulk rice 🍓fresh strawberries 🫑6 peppers 🧅2 onions 🐓3lbs of chicken 🥚6 eggs ▫️4.5 cups of egg whites 🥓20 slices of turkey bacon ⬇️Now for the HOW…⬇️ First, if you use my tip of prepping when you get home from the grocery store, you’ll already have cleaned + cut fruit, veggies ready to cook, & chicken that was seasoned by the butcher ✔️PRO TIP: we always ask the @sprouts butcher to cube the meat AND put their carne asada seasoning on the chicken breasts… I’m telling you, it is SO good😋 Lastly, always have rice cooked and ready to go. ❕BONUS—If you’re looking for extra protein, use bone broth 🦴instead of water when cooking. Mix together your eggs/egg whites and let’s do it! Now here’s my secret TIME SAVING HACK– cook everything on the @blackstoneproducts ! It cuts meal prep time in half (or more) and saves time on cleaning, too! 👍 First, cook your bacon and veggies. Once done, set aside veggies, chop up bacon, and get to work on your egg scramble. Be prepared, this cooks so fast! Scrape the blackstone when your eggs are done and throw your chicken on! Everything will be done in 30 minutes or less and then all you have to do is divvy up your breakfast and lunches! LEAN is a buzzword I hear often when women are telling me their goals… If you want that “lean” look, you need to be doing a few things in particular– 🍳eating enough protein 🏋️strength training ❤️‍🩹getting proper recovery The most common struggle my clients have is finding balance between ➡️protein, carbs, and fats⬅️ There is no ❎ one size fits all nutrition plan. For me, protein is always the largest portion on my plate🍽️ I don’t fear carbs and fats, but I make sure what I eat is balanced in a way that suits me.
