Carl Cox has picked several of his defining records from his vinyl collection for a new photography project 📷
Run DMC, Candi Statton, Talking Heads, Carrie Lucas, Fleetwood Mac, Duran Duran, Lil Louis and Doug Lazy are among the artists chosen from the UK's veteran 150,000-plus vinyl collection.
The results have been turned into a limited-edition artwork titled 'Carl', made in collaboration with British photographic artist @mark_vessey and set to be launched at Brighton's Enter Gallery later this month.

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has announced the first wave of artists for its 2024 edition.
Benga, Four Tet, Honey Dijon, Jeff Mills, Major League DJz, Martin Garrix, Peggy Gou, Rebekah, Avalon Emerson, Jennifer Loveless, Gabrielle Kwarteng, Tiësto and The Martinez Brothers are among the 300+ artists unveiled for the five-day event in October.
Taking place from 16th - 20th October in more than 200 locations spread out across the city, ADE will host more than 2,500 artists and 600 speakers in total, with additional line-up announcements emerging in the coming months.

Honey Dijon is curating a jukebox installation for the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center in Manhattan, featuring music by Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, The Isley Brothers and Little Richard 🍯
Part of a new exhibition marking the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion, the installation recreates the original jukebox and music playing at the now-iconic Stonewall Inn gay bar on 28th June 1969; the night of the historic police raid that sparked the Pride movement in the US.

Glastonbury is set to take a fallow year in 2026 🗓️
Festival organiser Emily Eavis confirmed the news in an interview with the Sun while also revealing that they are “already in talks with some acts” regarding the 2025 event.
The festival periodically takes a fallow year every five years or so in order to allow the farm land on which it takes place to fully recover. The last time Glastonbury had an official fallow year was in 2018.
