5 years ago Dillon and Glenn moved to DC to join David in chasing a dream.
4 years ago we opened a tiny grocery store kiosk the size of a closet, our first permanent home.
3 years ago the world came to a halt, our hopes hanging in the balance.
2 years ago we emerged from the pandemic with a second shop.
Last year we caught our big break and opened up at Union Market, saying goodbye to our first home in the process.
And today we're proud, ecstatic, moved, honored, and grateful to open our doors to all of you. No matter how difficult it felt at times, this journey has given us so much joy along every step of the way, and we owe it all to your endless and generous support. Wintermelon, a sweet gourd grown in China, is dried, candied, and paired with our classic milk tea for a roasty and soothing combination
HK Style Milk Tea (Union Market only):
A Cantonese diner staple traditionally made with strong black tea and condensed milk - our take pairs sweetened condensed oat milk with our house black tea mix
HK Coffee Milk Tea (14th St only): The same base as our HK Style Milk Tea is topped with our house nitro coffee

Our long awaited reusable jars are back and better than ever!
These are the true mark of a stan who is both sustainability-minded and so put together that they actually remember to bring their reusable jar (hopefully one day in a Spot of Tea tote 👀). Plus, as the savvy amongst you know, you can bring in any reusable cup for a 10% discount, so investing in one of these is basically saving for retirement 🤑.
Bonus fun fact: we used to manually drill the holes into the lids on our old reusable jars #vintage . These won’t have the same homemade touch but they’ll be a lot more symmetric!

first of all, their summer menu is UNBELIEVABLE! this is their creamsicle milk tea, and it genuinley tastes just like a melted ice pop 😭 it is the PERFECT summer drink, i also love the strawberry matcha 👀
their staff is UNBELIEVABLY kind, and literally goes above and beyond to make their customers feel special. the 2nd time i went into their new store, their wonderful team recognized both me AND my friend and took the time to catch up with us 😭🫶🏻
their boba is good all by itself, but the people who work there make it even better 😄
