Did you know? For Dublin Winter Lights 2022, we will be using generators that use hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) as its fuel source for projections and installations in the city centre. Hydrotreated vegetable oil is an alternative to fossil-based diesel fuel: ✅ It is made from 100% renewable waste materials ✅ Up to 90% reduction in CO2 emissions when compared to normal fossil based diesel fuel ✅ Up to 30% reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions ✅ Up to 86% reduction in particulate matter ✅ Biodegradable in less than 60 days ✅ Is odourless so is ideal for use in generators at events #EcoFriendly #EnergySaving #Biodegradable #DublinWinterLights

As part of Dublin Winter Lights 2022, Dublin City Council is inviting the city's school kids to create artworks around the theme of “Christmas in Dublin”. These artworks will be projected at Barnardo’s Square, Dame Street during the month of December with the top three entries being awarded a prize.
