The Cotswolds truly look like a fairytale and you should make it a must-visit destination on your journey through England! You could visit some villages on a day trip from London but I’d recommend spending at least a weekend like I did! These are some of the villages I got to visit that you should not miss! They are all quite small and some very close to the others so you can visit each in a few hours and get to see 3-4 per day! I visited by car as the public transportation in these areas don’t seem to be frequent, with a car is easier to explore around. If you’re planning to visit Barcelona make sure to save extra time to visit Costa Brava only 1-2hrs away by car. You’ll find beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters, medieval towns, white walled cobblestone alleys, impressive viewpoints and more! You can take public transportation from Barcelona to get to the towns but I suggest you to go by car as there are so many to visit that you’ll keep on finding new hidden gems as you drive along the coast! Steal my 3 day itinerary for your upcoming trip to Cinque Terre🇮🇹 Consider getting the Cinque Terre Card for unlimited train travel and access to hiking trails Day 1: Monterosso al Mare and Vernazza -Breakfast in Monterosso Al Mare at Gelateria La Scogliera overlooking the iconic beach with the beach umbrellas -Relax on Monterosso’s beach, the beach with the umbrellas is Stella Marina beach club, where you get access to the chairs. You can enjoy the beach for free but you have to enter from the beach side which is quite a walk and not the beach club side -Explore Monterosso town -Take the train to Vernazza from Monterosso (3mins) -Explore the harbour and try the famous seafood cone from a local vendor -Take a scenic hike towards the viewpoint located on the trail that goes from Vernazza to Monterosso, around 15-20 mins from the start of the trail on the right side alley after you pass Pizzeria Fratelli -Head towards the trail towards Corniglia to another viewpoint, just 5-7 mins from the main town.
