These have been sitting for a while. I sent them out for new badges and got them back. This was the first gig with the Lizard Kings at Fitzgerald’s this last Friday night ShellShock custom drums
As the old saying goes you never know who’s gonna walk in the door so here’s a great story.
Well it was kind of a last-minute gig with Freddie Dixon at Lee’s unleaded and all this buzz starts going around that the bass player from the Rolling Stones is gonna show up sure enough Darryl Jones is sitting at the bar.
Well seeing I was there for a Blues gig I was minding my own business and the next thing I know BOOM he get pulled up and there we were covering the thrill is gone with a reggae twist at the end of the tune with a twist of I shot the sheriff oh my God, what a night my friends are careers and music are made of memories and I know this will never happen again, but it happened tonight and that’s what matters what an honor this was. We had a great chat afterwards. 🙏
