So, about last Saturday night … I can honestly say it was one of the most emotional and beautiful evenings I’ve possibly ever had. I’ll be honest, I didn’t know what to expect- I’m not particularly organised or fabulous at organising any kind of event! I’m just very lucky to meet so many fabulous women through my shop (and in life). When
@drlarisacorda said she wanted to hold a book launch at the shop I wondered why a little! However, it was just amazing! Having the fabulous
@rachelwalkermason and friends singing songs from their
@thecirclemusical and hearing their story of why and how it all came to fruition was awe inspiring. Hearing how Dr Larissa came to write her book and to learn a little more about it was just astounding too. We also heard from
@thepuristorganicskincare and how she came to develop (in my opinion) one of the best skincare ranges I’ve ever used. The shop was filled with fabulous women, who could all relate to what was being said, which made it a really emotionally charged evening. What really blew me away was the amount of love and support there was for each other on such a deep level. I think we were all a bit stunned! Thank you so much to all who came. I know there were lots who couldn’t make it, but who knows - maybe this could be the start of something more regular?! The first pic is of a lovely message from a gorgeous customer sent after the event , and I just thought it encapsulated the mood of the whole evening. I have a copy of The Conception plan by Dr Larissa in the shop if anyone would like to take a look before you purchase - it’s such a fascinating read - (not just about conceiving a child), and I’ll keep the QR code linked to the circle musical in the window for anyone who’d like to know more and make a donation to take it to the west end! They’re so nearly there! As many of you know we also stock the purist skincare range and Mel will also be at the Sunday Market in the shop this Sunday. Thanks again to you all for your incredible support. Happy Thursday xx
