‘’Musical education was very important to my parents. We listened to a CD every car ride and I went to concerts with them from the age of five. And we still do that together these days. For example, every year I attend Noorderslag together with my father. Not many kids do this kind of thing with their parents and that's a pity. It is lovely to share such an experience. You get a different bond with your parents this way. They don't just make your food, they don't just do your laundry. By going to concerts together you become each other's buddy.''

''I remember my first festival vividly. Being quite small, I couldn't see much of the concerts at the time. I ended up sitting on a stranger's neck for a very long time. Years later, I now work in the music industry. Among other things, I do the marketing of Hit The North and the MME Awards. Providing a stage for promising artists is what I love to do. Coincidentally, it was in the music industry where I met my boyfriend. Last year during ESNS, I sat on his shoulders at Prince S. and The Geit's performance. The circle was complete again.''
