What is the current state of girls’ confidence? Like, TODAY? Être did the math. And mentors helped. Six years ago in 2018, Être role models @claireshipman0313 (yup, featured in #EtreTheBook ) and @katty.b.kay did an important survey with @ypulseinc to check in on girls’ confidence. Their results blew our minds, so when we wanted to update the math years later we reached back out and teamed up with @ypulseinc . Here’s what we found: TODAY the % of girls who say they feel smart drops 50% btw ages 13-18. And the % of girls who say they feel confident drops by 20%. 🤯 Our minds are still blown, but there’s now hope - bc 91% of girls said that higher confidence is directly related to #mentorship .
