💖 National Best Friends Day 💖 * Warning: Mum Post!! * I am so grateful for all the beautiful friendships Evie has and I know she considers so many of them her besties! In honour of Bestie day I wanted to share a moment that I sneakily filmed with one of her OG besties @the_adventures_of_isla_mae . Isla and Evie met when they were just 4 years old at a solo comp. Fast forward 6 years and they are still besties today - dancing together, going to comps together and growing up together as kids. This video was filmed just after DOTY was announced at nationals and on a crowded stage, these two beautiful friends shared the most special moment in their own world as if time stood still. These are the friendships that are so important - being happy for each other even if it may not be your moment this time around. There is more than enough opportunity for everyone to shine, celebrating what makes them unique and being so proud of one another. Through Evie’s friendships I have also met some of the strongest, inspiring, caring and funniest mums that I am so blessed to know and our children are a direct reflection of that. 🏃🏽‍♀️ Zone Cross Country 2024 🏃🏽‍♀️ Today I represented my school at the Sydney Catholic School cross country event. ✨Sydney Catholic Schools Eisteddfod✨ A wonderful opportunity the past two days to represent my school Our Lady of Fatima at the Sydney Catholic Schools Arts HQ Eisteddfod. Being one of the youngest, I competed yesterday in Jazz against students who were up to 11 years old & in Year 6 and today in 8-9yrs lyrical. 🩰 Victorian State Ballet audition 🩰 I had the most wonderful morning getting to audition for the @victorianstateballet production of Swan Lake. Being one of the youngest with over 120 talented dancers in my group I was so proud to partake in the closed audition. Whilst I wasn’t successful, I am so grateful for opportunities like this to learn and grow as well as having the maturity to go in on my own and remain happy and positive afterwards, no matter the outcome.
