July check-in, some natural light today.
Rolling into the 10th month of Improvement Season.
Working to bring up the quads/glutes
I just keep pushing on.
Improvement season can get monotonous. Getting up every day to train, to do cardio or pose, eating the same foods every day. I actually love this. I can see the changes..
Honestly, it does get a little hard at times watching everyone lean out and look show ready. However, I still have work to do. I don't want to prep and get back on stage and look the exact same.
So I celebrate when I PR a lift, or I am able to progressively overload. I am proud of the little things. I am also able to enjoy more time with my family in the off-season
Macros: same no changes this week
Training 4 days a week
Cardio 20 mins 4 days per week
Posing mostly on the weekends
I started actual bodybuilding in 2019. Jan 2019 I was 160 lbs. ( however, I had been 235 lbs previously) the rest of the pictures are from this week. I weighed 153.8 on Monday.
Not much difference in weight, but Body composition is very different.

Improvement Season continues....
End of May check-in from yesterday
I make the strangest faces in my check-in pics 😆 so I cover it. Also, I like this song sooo 😆 🤣
I am so happy with how this improvement season is going. Weight is around 150 lbs ish, i say ish bc it fluctuates a lot. Improvement season is not always easy, and I am very regimented for the most part with the exception of special occasions. I keep my training consistent every week. You know it's called "off season," but the truth is you still have to be "on" and check the boxes every day to make the needed muscle growth. I absolutely love the process of prep, and I am loving this Improvement Season process, too. 🙌
Macros; increased carbs 310, fat 60, protein 200
Training: 4 days per week, mostly glute/ quad focused
Cardio: 30 mins 4 days per week
Stretching and posing when I can during the week and definitely on weekends
