All of us are placed in this world to make a difference. It took a minute for me to figure out and finally have clarity. On February 25, I suffered a seizure. Within 72 hrs I was diagnosed with a tumor in my brain called Glioblastoma Grade 4, a terminal cancer with an average life expectancy of 12-16 months. I am no longer looking at life with filtered lenses and my mission in life has become crystal clear. The beauty industry throughout the years has brought me so much happiness and joy, it helped me find the passion and zest for life I knew I always wanted.
The beauty industry manages to gross $423 billion a year, yet has struggles to provide a suitable avenue for the artists working with a means of acquiring health care initiatives & affordable health insurance. Most H/M artists go without adequate healthcare. THANKFULLY I was one of the lucky ones who was able to afford health insurance and was able to receive the immediate help I needed. I realized that over 72% of our industry does not have ample insurance to get a MRI, Cat scan, mammograms, or lung screenings at a moments notice-and have to jump through hoops get referrals or biopsies before ever receiving the care needed- for me that would have been FATAL!!!
With my diagnosis I feel like I have been called to shake up this industry and make a difference!!
We are launching the TF APP: We are planning to pool the artist and client community together, build a universal education platform, fund a health care initiative for all artists and demand the industry back us up.
We have started a go fund me to pay for the App- 100% will go towards this APP. We have already started to build it with our own funds.

The last pic, when we were shooting, I actually was having a SEIZURE was unable to speak and didn’t even know it. I thought I was just exhausted. Thank goodness 2 hours later we decided to go to the ICU… and the rest is history (Glioblastoma Grade 4) and now I’ve found a purpose and mission in life!!
