Unbelievable.  This is the word I’ve heard most often when describing Le Troupe’s most recent trip to @Aerialympics Nationals in Kansas City, Missouri.  To see all of the Le Troupe members, from age 8 to the adult members, have the opportunity to perform on a real stage in front of their loved ones was pretty unbelievable. The opportunity to perform on that same stage with them, along with my husband in pink spandex was truly unbelievable. I love that I am lucky enough to show these kids what a truly supportive partner looks like. Then, I got to close out the weekend, with a whole muscle up on stage, with all of my kiddos screaming as loud as they could for me truly gave me the energy to give it everything I had. Hearing their voices supporting me was beyond unbelievable and a feeling I will never forget. These kids are my best friends, and I couldn’t imagine this circus journey without them. For me personally, it is also unbelievable to think that the newly established Le Troupe Booster Club raised a grand total of $23,000! Those funds completely paid for all 27 athletes round trip flights, lodging, inner city travel AND food! I truly had some rockstar parents step up and help me put together all these pieces to help make it happen. But, the most unbelievable thing of all has been this Cirque Athletics family that I get to be a part of.  While I could sit here and talk about all our recent medals, and accomplishments - I’d rather thank you. (Visit @Letr0upe for that info) Thank you for all the social media posts, cards and texts I have gotten describing the positive impact that this aerial program has had on your child. I am so touched and proud to know that we are making a difference in these kids’ lives. And, so, for one last time for the 2023-2024 Le Troupe season, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my unbelievable dreams my reality. When do we get to do it again?! Comment and share if you’re coming with me next year. #unbelievable #thankyou

Just sayingggggg. Trying to create shapes you’ve never seen before is way harder than copying things from the internet. What a drag. It’s even harder when your starting position is the most painful position you’ve ever put yourself in. But I’ll do anything for @aerialympics 🫶🏼 See you soon Kansas City!! #straps #rollups #aerialstraps

I feel like I’m turning into the athlete I’ve dreamt of being. While most of you watch me perform in the air or workout in the gym, it’s hard to believe that I’ve had to work incredibly hard to get my body to cooperate. Being athletic has never been easy. This is a great example as I’ve been really painfully bad at bar muscle ups and stringing them together until this morning. Something happened in my brain, and I just understood the assignment. I most definitely surprised myself. Having the patience and confidence to be bad at something FOR YEARS is a skill that cannot be taught. But every time I doubt my abilities, I can convince myself to wait a little longer or to try a little harder. Today I got to reap the rewards of consistency and patience with myself, and it felt exceptionally sweet. A special thank you to both Stephen and Cheryl for getting me here, happy with my performance AND the way I look. #barmuscleup #crossfit #workhard

I’ve been missing for a while. I let other things and responsibilities take my focus off of my own personal training schedule. I let people’s words creep into my brain. I let them knock me down. I allowed myself to feel less than. I set out a goal today to get in the air. I answered emails all morning and worked on the business and before I knew it I had 39 minutes before team practice started. That 39 minutes in the past two months would’ve been a great excuse to not warm up and to say ‘ehh, maybe tomorrow’. I sat at the computer and watched a video from @strapsninja , decided I had enough time to warm up and give something new a try. Today I chose me. #dontcallitacomeback

Prepping for @aerialympics so my feed will be busy the next 8 days. Trying to decide if I open up my straps routine with a roll up. 🤨 What do you think?! #straps #rollup #aerialist

Have you ever wondered what goes through my brain as I’m training a newish skill? PLEASE turn on your volume and watch til the end, for some really accurate insight. All in all, today I discovered two things: 1. @lululemon makes some incredible pants. I managed to burn my skin off in three separate areas THROUGH my pants. Pants still look brand new. 10/10. Would recommend. 2. Training an entire new sequence 9 days before jumping on a plane to present it, is not the smartest thing I’ve ever done - but most definitely not the dumbest. @aerialympics GET READY FOR A GOOD TIME!!

Just because I’m not home yet doesn’t mean I’m missing my Monday night flight. I got to drop into @lunar_potions lyra class, absolutely wreck my elbow pits, and stand on my straddle soapbox as a guest teacher for silks. @shinefitnessstudio is @aerialympics newest location and I can’t wait to watch my kids take flight in their beautiful studio. #aerialist #lyra #aeriallyra

Getting to train flags with these very special girlies has definitely been a high point in this @thevivafest trip. Learning and growing alongside these incredible kids might be one of my new favorite feelings, while I don’t have this skill yet we will be able to train it and arrive at the destination together. #risingtideliftsallboats Thank you @strapsninja for making this skill more realistic and letting us soak up some of your knowledge.
