ZamDance, founded by Jacqueline Zamora, is a dance fitness program for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. ZamDance empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by creating a safe and supportive space where they can explore the art of dance and enhance their physical and emotional well-being.
On display now in our Shakespeare Exhibition: Kawakami Otojirō (1864 – 1911) was a well-known Japanese actor and comedian whose troupe performed in Japan and toured Europe and the US. Later in his career, his company became interested in performing Western plays in Japan. In their 1905 production of Hamlet, Kawakami played the ghost of Hamlet’s father.
