Whilst I was in Austin, I met up with friends @soundwaves_art to sign a very limited collection of artwork created from the audio of “Get Better”. Every artwork has been hand-signed by myself and Soundwaves artist Tim Wakefield to support the incredible work of @warchilduk , a nonprofit organization protecting, educating and providing psychosocial support to children in war zones across the world. I’ve met Lou from @sickofitallnyc a few times (including this glorious Thanksgiving with my friend Dennis). Million Dead did some shows with them in 2004. Always a gent, and a band I grew up listening to. Lou has cancer and is raising funds. Help if you can; link in stories.

Frank Turner packed out the Strummerville stage and the surrounding fields up on the hill at Glastonbury, launching into a weekend of sets on the purest form. Who’d have thought that after all, something as simple as rock ‘n’ roll would save us all.
