Thank you to the vendors who still showed out in huge numbers in spite of the heat, to the ASL interpreters who stood for hours on end, to our friends at the Frederick Shell Car Wash for assisting us with misting tents for the festival, to our performers and DJs, food and drink service workers, to our fabulous drag queens and kings who performed all day long, and to EVERYONE who came out to attend our festival!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to our incredible and spectacular Pride Committee who worked over the course of the last 9+ months to ensure this event could take place. To our LGBTQ+ community: Pride matters because YOU matter. Pride matters because our love is louder than their hate. Pride matters because Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer+ people are an inextricable, important, valuable part of our society. The LGBTQ+ community of greater Frederick is beautiful, diverse, and filled with love. We will never be silenced, and we will continue to shine year-round.

We are thrilled to welcome back to the Market Street Stage, one of our favorite local DJs, CAPITAL DJ CHASE! Every year, Chase provides a perfect dance floor for Frederick Pride under the pergola by Market Street, and people can be found throughout the day dancing to his sets in between musical artists.

Please help us in welcoming one of our resident DJs, returning for his 8th Frederick Pride with us, DJ SIDEKICK! We're so excited welcome DJ Sidekick back to the Ampitheater Stage all day long, where he'll be spinning the best tunes for the festival. Welcome back, DJ Sidekick!
Frederick Pride always brings the heat, but this year will be hotter than ever. So please take that seriously and let's be safe by following these simple tips:
1) 🫗 START DRINKING WATER NOW. Keep your body hydrated by drinking plenty of water on Friday. Continue hydration through Saturday. Water stations will be at the entrances and at each vendor. Additionally, there will be a misting station at the Amphitheater.
2) ☀️Bulk up on sun protection! Hats, Sunglasses, and Sun Screen can be your best friends tomorrow!
3) ⛄️ If you are feeling too hot, Use the Community Room at the Frederick County Public Library to cool off! Do not wait; if you start feeling uneasy, get in the shade or go to the community room.
4) Emergency Management Services (EMS) is on site at the Amphitheater. If you are feeling unwell go there or grab a volunteer to assist you and they will contact EMS.
