@choreographers_carnival but I FINALLY got to play my dream role “Seaweed” from Hairspray! - I’ve auditioned for Seaweed so many times and never got it, but of course it was for this moment right here. I got to learn the Original Choreography to the original sound/picture from this particular movie! This version of “Run and Tell That” left an imprint on me. It was SO electrifying, in your face, joyful, freeing, and soulful that it literally jumps out of your TV screen and makes you FEEL! I never seen anything like it. And
@oneelijahkelley did an incredible job taking on the role of Seaweed - It was an honor to fill these shoes for the night and I hope it made everyone a part of the Hairspray film proud! This was very special to me.
@jamizzi you’re an Icon! From the few interactions I’ve had with you, you’ve been so epic and kind to me! It was an honor celebrating you and your scroll of achievements! Also, It was so fun discovering all of the projects you’re responsible for: HAIRSPRAY❗️USHER❗️Shanice⁉️(Hairspray almost took me out ngl) - Simply Thank You! 🙏🏽

To the DANCERS!!!!!!! We are Superheroes and NEVER FORGET IT! I will always LOVE DANCE, and you ALL add to that reason! We come together at the last minute, to learn number(S), make arrangements in our schedules with no bickering, attitudes, or discourse to make something great for someone. And we truly did it!
