Thank you @okaeri.community for having me perform and giving me a stage to share my passion of Nihon Buyo🎌🌈 This song Oedo Matsuri Bayashi, or Edo Bayashi for short, refers to the 300 year old traditional festival music of historic Tokyo. “Edo” is the name for Tokyo under rule of the Tokugawa Shogunate (1603 – 1868), “Matsuri” translates to festival and “Bayashi” refers to a musical ensemble.

this pride im feeling less about rainbows and more about deeply rooted self love. this post is not to flex but me simply displaying proud moments that took lots of courage, dedication and hard work. i have not always been the most proud of myself but with all of your love and support i am a very proud Japanese American transexual woman. i want to encourage all of you to continue loving yourself not only this month but each and every single day. pride is not a commercial holiday, its a state of being and we should be proud to show it! happy pride🏳️⚧️
