Everyone is a few years older but she is still mama to her forever baby girls. Happy Mothers Day to Melanie. They never tell you they don’t stop being your babies. But we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Finally visited one of the shrines to baseball. I wore Red Sox. Violet ate two hotdogs. And the kid in front of me got a souvenir baseball. All in all a good day. Great stadium experience. #fenway#baseball
30 years ago today a flight attendant who met a film director at LAX went on their very first date. (if you know our meet-cute story this sentence makes much more sense.)
Two Apartments, four houses, two kids, eleven cars, four cats (five if you count Maui) and two dogs later we are still discovering new things about each other nearly every single day. And I would not have it any other way. Here’s to 30 more years of discovery and hopefully a few more houses and maybe a sailboat.

Although genealogy and DNA has reinforced the knowledge I am mostly of Scandinavian and Scottish heritage, I am still proud of my Irish roots. So I say sláinte! to my dearly departed Grandma Jerry and Uncle Bill. And to all the Kavanaghs and distant cousins in County Tipperary. Indeed…It’s a long way to go.
