I had the honor of meeting @tawnykitaenofficial in 2016 at the @lex_con Her energy was unmatched and she was as kind as you’d imagine. Tawny didn’t have a line at her table, so I stepped right up and asked if she’d be willing to do an impromptu on camera interview with me. Of course, I’ve been turned down many times by other attendees, but Tawny smiled BIG and said “of course!!”.... this interview was the result of our brief encounter. After our chat she followed me on Twitter and we chatted there through the years. Oh! And she and I both finally got verified on Instagram! I was saddened to hear the news of her passing- mostly because of her young daughters Wynter and Raine— she loved them dearly. Life’s precious, and just too damn short.
