Après 4 ans de pleurs, de joies et de travail acharné je l’ai enfin obtenu, ce fameux diplôme 🎓. J’aimerais dire un grand merci à mes parents, mes amis, et surtout à DIEU qui m’a accompagné tout au long de cette aventure (merci Daddy🙏🏾). The simple answer: I don’t 😬 The motivation comes after I get myself to the gym unfortunately 😪 Going to the gym is a habit that takes practice 📆 In the beginning (and even now) it’s easy to find a reason not to go but when you’re already there it’s hard to stop 🤷🏾‍♀️ Once you get Into the momentum, not going to the gym starts to feel weird or wrong even. Your body will naturally start to crave it 🧏🏽‍♀️ Here’s three steps to help you start: 1. Change the way you view the gym 💪🏽 Instead of seeing it as a chore, find ways to make yourself look forward to it! I have a podcast that I can only listen to while I’m at the gym 🤭 so I associate working out with enjoying it 👂🏽 I also like dressing up and doing my makeup for the gym (jbc it’s fun and I look cute doing it 😛) 2. Use the 2-minutes rule ⏳ Tell yourself that you’ll only workout for two minutes. After those two minutes if you still don’t feel like it, you can stop. And congratulate yourself for at least trying 😌 More likely than not, you’ll want to continue after those two minutes because by that point you’ll have built the momentum and the reality of working out won’t be as bad/hard as you thought 💭 3. Be kind to yourself and rest 💆🏽‍♀️ Understand that there will be days where you won’t have as much energy, accommodate your workouts accordingly.
