When I got the email saying ‘Running On Empty’ had been selected by Madeleine I was over the moon. What an honour & a thrill to be included in such a wonderful line up of amazing Sondheim songs & incredible UK musical writing.
All of the performances were fantastic & the afternoon was a glorious celebration of new talent & new writing & I adored it. Bonnie Langford is the host with the most & Jenna Russell will always have my musical theatre heart. Thank you to Darren Clark for

But the biggest star on stage was Madeleine, who did an incredible job & I’m so so grateful she picked my song. BRAVA! I can’t wait to see what she does next.
