This weekend I’m saying goodbye to my first ever contemporary solo! I’ve loved having this routine and I’ve grown with it so much🥺 but I can’t wait to see what my next solos have in store for me!!!

This weekend was definitely a challenge for me. On Thursday night I was in hospital super sick with pneumonia and I didn’t even think I was going to be able to get better in time for my competition on Saturday. But I put on a brave face and decided to give it a go💪 despite being super sick, I gave it my all and smashed my routines. I even had the confidence to get back out there after forgetting one of my dances and give it another shot ✨Thank you so much @miss.tamika_ for your kindness and support, I love you so much and I wouldn’t be where I am without you. Another thank you to @taught.by.tianna@karla__currie@violet__currie for being my best supporters and helping through the day, I couldn’t have done it without you. Overall, I’m really proud of myself for this weekend and I learnt a lot and gained a lot of experience. @theonlineadjudicator thank you so much for adjudicating❤️ I love performing for you!! I can’t wait to listen to the critiques and keep working hard in the studio and improve ready for my next comp!!!!

words can not describe how thankful I am for how this weekend went!!! There were so many breakthrough moments for myself and my dancing and I’m so sad to see it end but I’m so proud of myself for getting through the day (even with a few tiny mistakes or two 👀). The best part was probably getting asked to help hand out all the awards for the big girls.. what an honour!!!!! Congratulations to everyone who competed, you were all amazing and I loved spending time with you all. I’m feeling so exhausted but super thankful for my teachers and friends for your continuous support. Now to get back into the studio and keeping working 💪
