2023 was a year of the highest of highs and some life changing moments. I’m so grateful for the people in my life that have stood by me through it ALL. Cheers to a beautiful new year of new adventures, lots of love, and so much more life to live. ♥️
The Symphony of Dance tour has only been over for a few days and I still haven’t quite found the words to express my emotions. This tour was truly one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life. When we kicked it off in September, I was on cloud nine; getting to travel and perform with my newlywed husband, doing the most challenging show I have ever done in my entire life. Then December 6th rolled around, and everything came to a screeching halt. When there were talks of resuming the tour a few months later, there was so much uncertainty around it for me. But I DID IT! This tour reignited many parts of me that have been dim for so long. So, for that, I cannot thank everyone who came out to support us on this wild journey enough. I am so grateful to still be here, with you all, doing what I love. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🫶🏼
Today is so very special because it is the day my beautiful husband was brought into this world! Derek, the love and light that you naturally radiate every single day is one of the many things that make you so special. I’m endlessly grateful for the person you are and that you chose me to live this crazy, beautiful life alongside you. I love you beyond words. Happy Birthday, my love! Cheers to your final year in your 30s! 🔥♥️

After every single show, Derek and I hop into the ice bath to expedite our recovery process. Icing after extreme physical activity, is a non-negotiable for us. It has many health benefits, some including:
-reducing inflammation and muscle soreness
-increasing blood flow
-activates the release of endorphins
-helps prep for a good night’s sleep
Which are all extremely important for us while on the road. Last night, we got all of the dancers involved and turned it into a little healthy competition 😉 We love our portable @edgetheorylabs tub so much! Hope you enjoy this highly entertaining video of their ice bath experiences!

What a blessing (and surprise) it is to be able to be back on stage dancing with my love after such a crazy past four months. My healing journey has been nothing short of extraordinary and being able to dance again is igniting my soul in all the ways; speeding up my recovery even more. I am so appreciative of the doctors who have supported me in my decision to dance again and my team of specialists that have been assembled to assure that my health and safety is priority. I cannot wait for you all to see this show! It was so meaningful when we opened last year and now, after everything that has happened, it is truly even more special. 🤍
Made a fun little date day adventure for Valentine’s Day! Derek and I always spend a lot of time together, and even more so over the past few months.. But I really wanted to focus on the intention and meaning of the day — spending quality time with my husband (I’m still not really used to saying it 🫠) and being grateful for the unique and special love we share. ♥️
