MN Open Calls!👑🥰
On Sunday and Monday this week, I made an appearance in 2 different cities for NAM open calls! I had a blast cheering on and interviewing prospecting contestants!🫶🏻 I also got to spend time with my sister queens so that’s always a plus✨
Open calls were extra special because it was exactly how my NAM journey started 11 years ago. In January 2013, I was the one sitting in the chair next to my mom hearing all about this amazing program while admiring the royalty standing in front of me, hoping to one day be her. To think that now I got that opportunity to be royalty at an open call and be a role model to these amazing young ladies is so incredible to me. What a full circle moment🥹

In honor of my dad who passed away 3 years ago today, I wanted to post this NAM formal wear throwback that will forever be one of my favorite memories made with him❤️ Looking back on moments like these is definitely bittersweet, but I am happy to be at a point where I can comfortably open up about this part of my story.
Today is one filled with lots of emotions that I, quite honestly, still struggle to verbalize. Losing a parent is something life can’t prepare you for and no one ever has the exact same experience, so I am still learning as I go. Especially with the timing of the incident being right around the holidays (New Years Day to be exact), my journey living through the loss is hard and complicated. Even to this day I am in denial often times. However, I can confidently say that I wouldn’t be the woman I am proud to be today without this unfortunate event and the multiple adversities that came along with it. After everything… I accepted the fact that this is who I was meant to be and ran with it.
Dad, you’re the man. Thank you for your support with everything I do and I am excited to go into 2024 together. You’re my biggest inspiration and I strive to carry on your legacy and make you proud on a daily basis. I love and miss you endlessly🫶🏼
Looking into the new year like…✨
HAPPY NEW YEAR!🎉 No way is it 2024!🤯 I usually take this time of transition to reflect on the past year as it wraps up and then create my vision for the upcoming year. Looking back on 2023, I am so grateful for how amazing it was. Leaving was honestly bittersweet as I accomplished several long term goals, went on many new adventures, and took massive steps forward on my journey. My pageant journey specifically went in a direction that I only saw in my wildest dreams👑❤️ Especially considering the headspace I was in at the beginning of the year, and coming off of 2 rough years prior, I am proud of my growth. It was a year full of self discovery, maturing, and re-invention and I feel as though I truly leveled up. It really is just the start, and I feel incredibly motivated going into the new year🔥📈 As a 20 year old navigating an extremely unpredictable stage of life, I plan on continuing to embrace the unknowns and I am so excited to see what this next year holds! Regardless of how you feel about 2023, I hope you all are able to continue moving forward and have an amazing year! LET’S GET IT😎

✨FINAL SHOW RECAP!✨
I am beaming with joy and gratitude to announce that I brought Minnesota into the top 12 in the country!🫶🏼🤯 When I think back to the time I contemplated if I even wanted to compete at state… that made hearing my name called into the top finalists at the national competition a feeling of indescribable happiness. I appreciated the opportunity to present my personal introduction a 2nd time and stand alongside my amazingly accomplished sisters. Although I didn’t end up with the crown, I leave Nationals week incredibly fulfilled and wouldn’t have changed a single thing about any of my performances. I am so blessed to have received optional competition awards, multiple exciting opportunities, an even stronger version of myself, and friendships to last a lifetime❤️
Minnesota… it’s not over yet🫶🏼 I’m excited to get back to work as a state titleholder and I look forward to the rest of my reign as your National American Miss Minnesota. I am so appreciative of how this program has shaped me into the Hayley I am proud to be today. It has been a wild 10 year journey, and thank you will never be enough.

Formal Wear today was an absolute dream🥹✨ 1 required competition down. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to attend iam internationals and grace the stage while wearing my great state across my chest. Minnesota… I hope I made you proud🫶🏼
