Some days I’m doing pretty wedding editorials, other days I’m overloading on Disney snacks at Magic Kingdom and sometimes I’m even designing kids clothes. My life is a beautiful mess full of all my favorite things and I’ve decided to turn this page into just that - a journal of ME and my life! I am an adoptive momma to this little boy who is my whole world so get ready to see his face a lot more around here.

6 shots plus bloodwork today has me feeling a bit yuck. IVF is definitely not for the weak and though I have days of weakness, I’ve learned that I am a strong woman. I’m not the only strong one though- YOU are strong too. Stronger then you might think sometimes. No matter what you are going though mentally, physically, business related, personal issues, stressed, tired.. whatever it is, you are strong and will overcome any obstacle currently in your path.

Hi! I’m Heather, remember me? I haven’t been on this Instagram much lately - you know, LIFE has a way of showing you what’s important and being on social media definitely hasn’t been my first priority.
You guys know we have been battling infertility for years and years (and we adopted our son back in 2017, which has been my biggest blessing of all!) but now we are going through IVF to try for baby #2 and my goodness, I forgot what this roller coaster felt like. I know things will work out however they are supposed to in the end but the ride to the finish is a bumpy one and honestly I’m not quite sure if I’m ready.
I know I’m not the only one going through difficult times, so here’s to all of you. Smiling through hardships, showing up and showing out like you’ve got this because I’m here to tell you, YOU DO!

If you would have told me back in 2012 when I started my wedding planning business that it would lead to some of the most amazing moments and memories in my life, I’m sure I would of laughed. I worked a full time corporate job, we lived in Alaska and wedding planning was my ultimate dream. I had no idea where this little dream would lead me to but I can honestly say I never in a million years thought it would lead me to the most amazing opportunities of my life. From 150+ incredible couples, to celebrity clients, to international speaking gigs, to awards after awards, to the best team ever ... I can now tell you exactly what it feels like to live a life that you’ve only dreamed of.
Just how we as people grow and evolve so do our dreams and you all have embraced my constant new ideas in a way I could of never imagined. I’m constantly dreaming and designing and have created new businesses on the back of my love for wedding planning and it’s time for me to push full steam ahead as a designer, stylist and a motivational outlet for so many people who cross my path daily. While I’m very much still immersed in the wedding world, I’m officially closing the wedding planning chapter of my life (and changing Instagram handles for the first time in 9 years, umm hello- that’s scary!) and I’m beyond excited to just be authentically ME! So buckle up and get ready, this page is going to be a combo of some of my favorite designs and events I host, a little look into my life as a mom and my precious family and of course, some of my favorite things!
