A big warm hello to all of you 🫶 My name is Heather and I’m the lady behind Heather Serrano Photography. While I spend some of my days behind the camera for the hustle and bustle of capturing wedding days and portrait sessions, I also spend most of my days doing the backend of business that people don’t usually see : editing, gallery delivery, admin work, marketing my services, invoicing…just to name a few. While I usually share the business side of things over here on social media, I would love to share some things I do on my time off so you can get to know me a little better.
🧹Cleaning + Organizing…yup I am the weirdo that likes to clean and organize. I enjoy watching youtube videos about cleaning and organizing as well. For the most part having a tidy space just makes me feel less anxious and more prepared going into my work weeks. Any fellow home edit lovers? Marie Kondo?
🚶🏻♀️Going for walks might be my love language. Sometimes in the mornings, evenings, or when I’m feeling overwhelmed with work/life and I just need to clear my mind I head out for a nice walk. Pretty much always while holding my handsome husband’s hand.
🧴 I love sunbathing, whether being at the pool or the beach. There is just something about getting Vitamin D that makes me feel refreshed. (In moderation and with SPF of course). A lot of times while sunbathing I don’t even like to have music playing, I just like to soak in the environment quietly.
While these might not be the most exciting facts about how I typically spend time off, It is my normal right now and I guess I’m just really into serenity.
