Personally, after listening to the new project (which is fire) I think he may be too abstract and complex with his lyricism for him to ever reach that status. Not saying that’s right just what it is. He is so good at his craft but it’s not as digestible as some of his peers who are in that goat convo. The masses will never appreciate abstract art as much as they will mainstream art. That goes for any creative field.
But that’s just my opinion. what do you think?
