Happy Birthday to me this week!! **Long post alert**
This year’s birthday celebrations looked a little different as a more chronically ill mama. The original plan was to hang out at a park but it’s already hot here & my nerve pain is very heat intolerant this year, so to the mall it was! We did lunch, cake, & presents in the food court & then walked around for a bit. Calamity ensued because it always does with kids, but overall it was a good day. Exhausting for sure, but I am still so grateful to be able to celebrate with my little family. It’s an odd struggle for sure though, trying to live life & keep my pain levels down while also not just sitting inside & watching life pass me by. To be honest, it’s a balance I haven’t quite worked out yet but I hope that my true friends & family can be patient with me yet again while I figure it out, this time with kiddos.
I threw together this Ariel in her Pink Dress #Disneybound in honor of the lovely @3mmskat ! Pretty simplistic cause most of my accessories are still put up, cause toddlers don’t let you have nice things 🤣, but the Hubby came to the rescue with some awesome new @loungefly accessories this year as my gifts, yay! 🦀🐠💕 Also, I included my special @rubyredfashionfriends_global Hanna doll because her motto (as her shirt says) is “Think Happy Thoughts!” & Emms would have loved that! 💜 And then a silly pic of me using a fork as a dinglehopper, as one should at their mermaid themed bday party. 😜🍴
