Yesterday our Treasure Valley team came together to donate food and funds raised in our annual Closing the Hunger Gap campaign to the Idaho Foodbank. We have loved working with them as our beneficiary for the past 13 years! With the food and funds donated, the food bank will be able to provide food for 30,000 meals!

Thank you, Citi Volunteers, for visiting The Idaho Foodbank during the annual Global Community Day event. Citi Volunteers were able to pack food for up to 14,300 meals, and they made a monetary donation of $10,000. This support will surely help The Foodbank nourish neighbors this summer. 🙏

Yesterday, two of our health and nutrition team members spent the day at the Idaho Community Health Worker Association’s annual Learning Collaborative. They learned about chronic disease management, the importance of housing on health and mental well-being, and how CHW's play a vital role in the success of Idaho’s communities. Our team members were also able to share vital resources and the impact that hunger has on health. Thank you, ICHWA Board of Directors for the invitation! We always love to attend this event and leave refreshed with new information and insight.

On race day, the cycling community is invited to participate in 'Ride with the Pros' at the Twilight Criterium. 🚴♂️

The Kroger Co. Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation has awarded The Idaho Foodbank $10,000 via the Holiday Hunger Round-Up campaign in partnership with Fred Meyer.
We are proud to accept this grant to support our hunger-relief efforts in the community.
VOLUNTEER ROUNDUP INCOMING 👷♀️ 💪
The Trinity Lutheran Coeur d'Alene Youth Group stopped in to label and pack over 5,000 lbs of canned green beans and canned corn. 🌽
Trinchero Family Estates, Hayden Beverage and Albertsons volunteered and donated enough to provide food for up to 15,000 meals.
Western States Equipment Co labeled and repacked over 7500 #'s of green beans at the Pocatello facility.
ICCU, the Highland 10th Ward Teachers Quorum, and Southeastern Idaho Public Health worked on projects such as sorting and repacking produce as well as building food boxes for the mobile pantry program.
Volunteers have been making the most of their summer ☀️ by choosing to give back - we are incredibly grateful to have so much support for our mission to end hunger in Idaho. We love you, volunteers! ❤️
