Nike N7 doesn’t miss 😮‍💨 N7 is back with their newest collection centring Indigenous youth—this time, recruiting Mi’kmaq designer Lauren Thomas (@lohnny.threefeathers ) for the design and Cree N7 athlete Kendra Jessie (@kendrajessie ) for the promo. 🔥🏋️‍♀️ According to their website, designer Lauren Thomas was inspired by Mi’kmaq petroglyphs to create contemporary takes on traditional art. Denied. Leonard Peltier, a Turtle Mountain Chippewa member and American Indian Movement (AIM) leader has been denied parole after his hearing on June 10th. Family, friends & community argued for his release due to failing health and that evidence was falsified. However, the FBI maintains his guilt. The U.S. Parole Commission announced he won’t have another hearing until June 2026. At the time of his next hearing, Peltier will be 81. This denial leaves Peltier’s fate uncertain, with a clemency request still pending before President Biden. #LeonardPeltier #KinshipNews
