Thank you to the Lilly Endowment and United Way of Central Indiana for helping out at Al Polin Park. Volunteers helped beautify the park by spreading mulch, picking weeds, and cleaning up fallen branches.

Today, Mayor Joe Hogsett, Parks Committee Chair Councilor Crista Carlino, and Indy Parks Director Phyllis Boyd highlighted the Indy Parks Summer Servings Program at Frederick Douglass Park and served meals to local youth. Summer Servings aims to fill the summer gap when children cannot get the meals they would usually receive from the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs during the school year.
