Met with the brilliant students of Santa Cruz R.C. Primary school yesterday where we discussed their aspirations and the importance of togetherness to overcome adversities. We had our market day at Santa Cruz R.C. school today! 👩‍🌾 planted some lettuce a few weeks ago alongside the children of the school and we sold all the crops back to the community today! So proud of these children and their service to their community of Santa Cruz. Had the pleasure of spending my morning with the children and staff of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital in beautiful South Africa! 🩷 I wore my most “princess” like dress to hopefully make these cuties smile and found myself twirling and curtsying for them all morning😄😊. I left feeling like there’s still so much work to do in the world and I’m so happy to see it being done here passionately through the doctors, psychologists and staff who pour their hearts into these young children every day. I’m beyond excited to have my children’s book stay behind in South Africa with the hospital for these little cuties and their parents to read! 🥹 Thank you @missworld and @missworldsouthafrica @bouwercarol for this beautiful experience

“Ain’t running from myself no more”… this was my song choice for talent at @missworld . This song represented finding my voice and finding my light in the darkness. I’m so grateful that I was chosen top 23 for talent and even though I didn’t make it all the way, I’m so proud of myself because never in a million years would I think I’d be singing for the judges at @missworld ☺️ I still struggle with stage fright but one day I’ll be able to sing in front of people like I sing to myself.
