I hadn’t been here since I was a child and definitely not as a parent. There’s something for everyone which was amazing. Usually I find the older age groups are left out but with basketball hoops, tennis courts and games for older kids it’s was the perfect combo with the pools and spas.

I have suffered from an iron deficiency on and off since I was a child, but it’s not something I talk about often.
When you’re pregnant it’s a condition they check for and get on top of quickly but its something that can have a huge effect on your life at any time.
When my iron levels start to get really low I don’t always pick up on the early signs. Things like headaches and feeling a bit more tired than usual. Once my iron has been low for a while it effects almost every part of my life. I’m lethargic, have headaches and body aches, I’m moody and my mental health is effected, my heart speeds up and I am easily short of breath. I even get more anxious.
You really do need to #TakeIronSeriously because #IronDeficency is something that can have a huge negative effect on your quality of life but isn’t always obvious. A lot of people live with the symptoms for years before seeking help.
It’s easily checked and diagnosed so if you have any of the symptoms make an appointment with your GP.

The humidity has been horrific this year and it’s certainly made me question the temperature gage multiple times.
