(Pedals - Moog MF104Z delay, Moog Freq box, Whammy pedal, OP1 that is always broken, Z Vex Wooly Mammoth, Loud Button WTF frequency follower/ weirdo pedal, Moog 12 Stage Phaser that I dropped from a balcony 15 years ago while shitfaced & taped back together, Strymon Sunset overdrive, very pretty on vocals.).

I dont go out to shows often due to raging social anxiety, but I wanted to go see my tour family darlings @sinebandofficial & @cursemackey in a big theater. And my goodness did they fucking bring it. As I was leaving the Belasco, Maf texted me this photo of Strelka at home sleeping on/ guarding my costume case that I STILL havent unpacked from Thursday...she really doesn't like cases lying around as she starts to think we're leaving again, also compounded with the extremely rare act of me leaving the house after 6 made her quite upset. Anyway the PSA here is...dogs are supreme and do be sure and unpack your luggage as soon as possible.

I wanted just to say thank you to everyone that came out to @golddiggersla Thursday night. I think my entire central nervous system was hinging on whether or not my 48 year old, extremely fragile and unstable ARP 2600 synth and his accompanying 1613 sequencer would indeed survive a performance. After a wobbly start at soundcheck, @d_a_t_68 assured me it was sounding marvelously demonic out front, and we left the sequencer running throughout the night to help it stabilize. I dont play with a band, I just run playback from @ableton & keep it all very simple so I can concentrate on my performance and let Maf's visuals rip. BUT. I have had this creeping desire to take a risk, and add a piece of personnel that is a polar opposite to my current setup. I'll probably do more hometown shows like this featuring some old beasts I have in my studio..? We met new fans, felt lots of support and love and got to scribble "I Speak Machine" in Sharpie on @lisakolsch @stilwell_adam @kevinkolsch and @tatyana.8_ 's forearms (did you get them permanently affixed? And Im sorry @maflewis tried to charge you all $50 a pop). It still fucking blows my mind & explodes my heart that people come and listen and watch and buy what we make.
