Tamyra Mariama Mensah Stock is a former amateur wrestler-turned pro wrestler. She is an Olympic gold medalist and the first black woman to win gold in women's freestyle wrestling. Tamyra is signed to WWE and has been training at the company's Performance Center. She reportedly has been impressing everyone with how quickly she has taken to the art of pro wrestling, and she has wrestled several non-televised matches. She will making her televised in-ring debut this week under the name Tyra Mae Steele. Stock is the second Olympic gold medalist in pro wrestling after WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle .

When I came to this school, I was trying to figure out life with four kids; happy to have a job where we could all be in the same building, arrive together in the morning, and leave together in the afternoon. Everyone except Lauren that is- since she was in preschool at the time. Through hard work, good times, and bad times, and all the stuff you'd read about in a book or hear in a song, I got to see the last Young'n take her stride across the elementary stage. I'm now a school "empty nester"🥲
I received multiple bonuses today:
•Lauren's BFF Maeve (the other half of the 'Giggle Twins' pictured below) got the spotlight shone on her for being an absolutely AMAZING girl- overcoming illness, being a great friend to everyone, and completely rocking out 5th grade like a pro
•Several kiddos who were in kindergarten with Lauren finish strong and earn the status of sixth grader
•Three of the 5 boys I mentored this year are now entering middle school
•The former kindergarteners I had with the late, great Donna Holmes and Mary Charles Martin Whitaker are officially moving upstairs to the bigger kid floor and will be taking their own trips across the stage before we know it
•I got to give several hugs to kids who were emotional about it being the last day of school.
Congratulations to my Lauren, to all the former 5th graders, and to the entire House of Bulldogs for a successful year. You've earned this summer break.

Don't let Lauren's face fool you. She enjoyed her dinner and a movie birthday celebration with her friends. While waiting for the movie (after dinner), they played "Would You Rather?" and charades, and had impromptu dance party. It's the simple pleasures in life like these that makes a father think to himself:
"I'm glad I'm not having any more girls".
