#BabyJ meeting "Ariel" was the ultimate highlight of the #NAACPImageAwards ! She came to LA with her Ariel necklace and her Ariel doll, but to be able to get a hug from "Ariel" and have a conversation with her was the ultimate dream and she has not stopped talking about it. And the celebration continues! Last night we fêted the iconic and incomparable @juneambrose , with @kellyroland presenting her hardware 🏆 at the #NAACPImageAwards Fashion Show. And we had a family reunion! @jotakaeaddy , @latoiajones , @janaye_ingram , @niwiggins , @mschanellep and Alaya, @keenanaustinreed Huge congrats @NAACP on another stunning fashion show! 2023 was a doozy of a year. I came into 2024 feeling depleted and unsure of so many things in my life. Leading Women Defined has been a space where, for many years, I have found connection, inspiration and become clearer about my purpose. I knew that I had to return for the first time since the pandemic and I am so glad I did. We laughed, we cried, we nourished our hearts, minds, souls (and stomachs) throughout the weekend. I spent so much time reconnecting and connecting with so many amazing women and truly living in the moment that I got more hugs than pics! Thank you @iamdebralee for your vision and for your desire to share it with so many. You are the epitome of "lifting as you climb" and I am grateful to be invited.
