I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to attend CANFAR’s annual gala, Bloor St Entertains, once again this year in Toronto. HIV remains an epidemic in Canada, and the stigma surrounding it has resulted in delays for many individuals in accessing testing and treatment. On the eve of World AIDS Day, we all came together to raise awareness and funds towards ending the HIV epidemic in Canada. The night was a resounding success, with supporters, partners, and the local Bloor Yorkville community raising over $1.5 million dollars. Congratulations to my sister @jl.fricker and her co-chairs for hosting such a fantastic event, and to the entire committee at CANFAR ( @canfar1987 ) for bringing us all together. From the delightful private dinner at the Four Seasons penthouse to the incredible after-party attended by 1000 guests and featuring a performance by Mya, the evening was truly unforgettable.
