It might not always feel like you’re making progress, but if you are consistent it’s kinda hard not to make progress in some way. It’s just the level of work that you are putting in that will determine the amount of progress and the time it takes. This is a clear example of one form of progressive overload -> Increasing weight over time. Progressive overload is one factor in increasing muscle mass (along with other factors like sufficient protein intake, rest, recovery, etc.) Let me be clear on a few things 1. I listed the weight to show the progression NOT for you to try the same weight. 2. There are many times I did this exercise that I didn’t show in the video of me increasing the weight for example I typically only increase my weight about 5 lbs at a time unless I know I am ready for more but I don’t have a video of every increase. I’m just pointing this out so you don’t try to jump up 25 lbs at a time and hurt yourself. 06.2023 June started with 3 days of Summer Smash in St Louis where I was surrounded with amazing people, worked out really hard, and danced even harder to the Chainsmokers. I drove 5 hours home to go straight to my beautiful friends bridal shower. The weekend after that I went to Heatwave music festival in Chicago with VIP tickets (thanks to a friend) and saw Loud Luxury and K5. A few days later I was on a plane to Vegas and drove to Bryce Canyon to spend a few days, then Zion for a few more. I saw the most beautiful (double) rainbow I’ve seen in my entire life, star gazed with no moon in a National dark sky park, hiked 24 miles total, including Angels Landing (something I said I would never do in my life), I drove a razor in sand dunes that looked like Mars, and rode an e-bike through the most scenic route. I ended that trip in Vegas, was home for one day and then went to see Fall Out Boy at Wrigley Field the next day. I have very little words to explain how amazing the month of June was for me. When you stop worrying so much about the future you really learn how to live in the present. Another Club Fitness post! Here’s a selfie in the women’s locker room with the best lighting ever😍 This facility is so big compared to what I am used to. I didn’t get video of all of the rooms but they have a cycle room, a functional training room, a women’s room, and they just added this relax and recover area that we were lucky enough to check out. Swipe to see me laying down in one of the chairs. The main area of the gym is really big too with a large area dedicated to cardio that’s somewhat separated from the weight lifting areas. The video is of the free weight area but they also have cables and machines in the middle. Day 1 of Summer Smash 🤍 I didn’t post a lot while I was there and I really didn’t take as many pictures as I did last year. I was really just enjoying the phamily and enjoying the environment. To be a part of a community like this is unreal and unexplainable to anyone unless you’ve experienced it for yourself. Which I highly recommend by the way :) I feel so grateful to have been able to go again this year. More pics to come! A 20 minute healthy & delicious breakfast/brunch idea 👌🏼 Portabella mushroom cap - Clean and bake at 400 degrees F for 15 min (I used a toaster oven) While that cooks - Cook egg to your liking Chop spinach & tomato After the mushroom is done - Add spinach, tomato, egg, and feta Put back in for another 5 min to finish Fresh green beans were cleaned, chopped the ends off, and steamed while the mushroom cooked! Possible improvements although this was delicious I would also like to try pre cooking the spinach or baking it with the mushroom longer! #healthybreakfast #healthyfood #healthylifestyle #fitness #healthandwellness #healthyfoodideas #fitgirl #mindset

You’ve seen me do all of these time and time again. Stick to the basics and what works for you and focus on progressive overload. Don’t switch up your workouts too often. PS - I wouldn’t recommend putting all of these together in one workout bc a lot of these are compound exercises. A typical glute focused workout for me has 1-2 compound movements, a unilateral exercise, and some accessory work for a total of only 4-5 exercises.
