I came to this song by way of Sinéad O’Connor’s version ( that I found on YouTube) that she sang at Shane MacGowan’s 60 birthday party. So it’s a tribute to both great artists. What a magical experience that was! Singing in a water doorway in Venice to an audience across the canal sitting in a little square behind a beautiful church. With gondolas intermittently rowing by, it was a surreal, fantastic experience I’ll never forget!Thank you Morgan O’Hara for inviting me to perform in your concert series while I was here in Venice! Thanks to my new Venetian manager Matteo for the first few pictures and @laurentix7 for the video. And thanks @charlienieland for quickly making me some instrumental tracks to sing along with!! I love Venice and will be back! ✨✨✨✨
