While working with one of my Teen pageant clients in interview today, I definitely felt my age.
Me: If you could choose to live your teen years in another decade, which decade would you choose and why?
Teen: The 1980’s. I’m really interested in “early history” and times were A LOT different back then.
Me: Early history? Ouch. Who knew I was witnessing the dawn of time. 🤣
“Ten Flashing Fireflies….dash away, flash away, now there are none…” And just like that, year 26 of teaching comes to an end. This year has had its share of many ups and downs, but I’m so thankful for this invaluable group of colleagues who’ve had my back through it all. As I reflect on the year, it’s easy to overlook all of the incredible things that have been accomplished. But deep down, the memories of this year will keep shining brightly inside of me. ✨
