Thank you, thank you, thank you to every hair and makeup artist who helped us bring the remarkable vision of @colincowie and @colincowielifestyle to life for the @fontainebleaulasvegas grand opening!
Our team of over 35 hair and makeup artists, including two assistants and a production manager, glammed and groomed over 150 talent with 20 different looks that ranged from old Hollywood Marilyn Monroe-inspired to Geishas.
I am in awe of the amount of talent I got to meet and work with in Vegas, and I’m touched that some of our exceptional out-of-town stylists were willing to arrange their flights and accommodations to be a part of this magical moment.

“Something In My Eye” is a love letter to myself. As someone who is typically the “strong friend” recently I’ve found strength in being able to accept support for myself, for whatever emotions and struggles I’m having at the time. This song is a reflection of the space I was in of shying away from some of my feelings and moving into the space I am in now, where I’m facing them head on.

I figured it would be best to feature a few of performers at a time to really admire the hard work and talents of everyone involved.
Calling all members of my hair and makeup team who worked on any of the looks above. Shout yourselves out in the comments. With a team as big as ours… you know my heart. ❤️

We did it! This has been the greatest endeavor I’ve ever taken part in, let alone led, throughout my 16-year career in beauty.
What it took: Weeks of planning and designing hair and makeup looks with @jillevyn for 63 performers. Nearly $20k in prosthetics, extensions, wigs, glitter, rhinestones, lashes, makeup and more. Over 150 hours of preproduction. 27 talented artists. 3 amazing on-site assistants. 3 remote assistants. 2 green-screen shoots. 8 nights in San Francisco. 1 full out rehearsal and 3 (13+ hour) event days.
After my health scare last year I decided it was time to to slow down a bit with set work and focus primarily on the staffing agency (and producing). This was the universe saying “welp… here you go!” It was one crazy ride, but I wasn’t ready for it end.
Thank you to my wonderful team of artists and my phenomenal keys @juliehasit (SFX MU) and @tayslaughterhair (HAIR.)
Looking forward to getting back to posting again and sharing all the outstanding work this group above (and a few missing people) got to create.
