My dear clients! I have prepared this post to ensure you are well-informed about what ❌ NOT to do prior to your makeup appointment, as well as what ✅ IS RECOMMENDED.
A few days before your makeup session, please avoid:
❌ Strong peels and scrubs.
❌ Facial treatments at a cosmetologist.
❌ Any laser treatments.
❌ Prolonged sun exposure.
❌ Facial hair removal.
❌ Experimenting with new skincare products (as they may cause allergic reactions).
❌ Consuming excessive alcohol, spicy, fried, and unhealthy foods (which can lead to skin rashes).
On the day before your appointment with your makeup artist, it is RECOMMENDED that you:
✅ Gently cleanse your skin using exfoliants or gentle cleansers.
✅ Apply moisturizing and nourishing masks.
✅ Moisturize the area around your lips and eyelids.
✅ Apply a moisturizer or lip mask to your lips before going to bed.
✅ Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and engage in moderate physical activity (which helps reduce swelling).
✅ Use serums suitable for your skin type.
✅ Apply serums for your eyelashes and eyebrows.
