HOLD ON TO DEER LIFE, THERE'S A BLCAK BOY BEHIND YOU! IS OUT NOWWWWW!!!! I made this in the summer of 2022 in Berlin while living in a tiny apartment in sonnenalle 40, doing my daily commute to the studio in Mitte. It was the first time I spent an undisturbed extended period of time in Europe, and it feels exciting to finally have it out, it's some of my favorite songs that I've written and produced, and the first project that was purposefully created as an album. It'll run you about the same time as your favourite sitcom. Listen in one go from top to bottom and carry no expectations and don't listen with the hope to find something poetic, take it as is and there maybe you'll find the joy in all of it. This album has been made possible by alot of people who are working in the back end. In the driver's seat, running the shè camp, overseeing it all, my wonderful manager, the German bulldozer @ramitosh The unwavering pillar of support and connector of dots @makakalimotion @monkeytown_records for picking this project up and giving it a shot. Atata Omondi, working with me, taking all the costume sketches/refs and sticthing them to life. @devin.liston - painting that back cover in a couple days, no questions asked. Emmaus Kimani - director of photography for the deep red perf. video ( @e_kimani ) And my right hand, MD and stage partner @__ko.da for translating this music to sound even bigger for when we play it for you live at the shows and more.
